What is Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS)?
It’s a government-funded setup that offers financial help (capped at $1,052) to eligible kids for basic dental services over two consecutive calendar years. To make the cut for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule, here’s what your child needs to tick off:
- They should be between 2 and 17 years old.
- They must be eligible for Medicare.
- Either they or their family should be getting specific Australian Government payments.
Now, let’s dive into the offer itself. You can cash in on up to $1,052 for each child over two back-to-back calendar years. You’re totally welcome to splurge the entire $1,052 in the first year, but just keep in mind that there won’t be anything left for the second year if you go all out.
